Nutrients Tab

If necessary, you can add your own nutrients. These nutrients act no differently from the included nutrients. You can add data to food item records for them, and they can appear in the analyses. Nutrients added here can show in the Supplement Facts panels; however, they cannot appear on the Nutrition Facts Labels.

1. From the Database ribbon, select Modify

2. Select the Nutrients tab.

3. Click the New button.

4. Type in the Name of the new nutrient.

5. Type in an Abbreviated Name

6. Enter a Measure Name.

7. Click OK.
