DataLink

The new DataLink integration application is a add-on feature that allows TraceGains ingredient subscribers to link their TraceGains ingredients to user-created ingredients in the Genesis R&D database.

To access this feature

• • From the Database ribbon, click the DataLink icon
    
    

• • When the window opens, you will see a list of your TraceGains ingredients on the left. (This list is populated by the ingredients you subscribe to. You will be given a unique key by TraceGains.)

For each TraceGains item, you can:

• • Link it to an existing item in the Genesis database
  • Create a new item in the Genesis database
  • Skip the item and do nothing with it

You will have to do this for each of your TraceGains items. The next time you open this app, the list will show only the ingredients that have changed.
