11.11 New Features
Genesis R&D 11.11
Sesame included as an Allergen for U.S. Nutrition Facts labels
Sesame is now included in the list of allergens for all Recipes and Ingredients. Reminder: In order for your Label view to show sesame in the allergen “Contains” statement, you must have correctly designated sesame as an allergen at the Ingredient or Recipe levels. Please see “Why am I seeing Sesame as an Allergen after updating Genesis R&D to 11.11?” for more information.
Canada Labels
The Claims feature has been modified after discussions with Health Canada. In order to make a nutrient content claim on your Canada label, the actual, unrounded nutrient amounts must meet the qualifying conditions per both the serving size and reference amount.
On the Label view, the allergen and ingredient statement titles are now bold and any French only or bilingual labels with French as the first language will display commas as decimal points.
