Dual Column Labels

The Dual Column Label may be used:

• for food that requires further preparation (such as dry cake mixes or dry pasta products)
• for food that is commonly combined with other ingredients (such as cereal plus milk)
• to show %DV for 2 different RDI’s (such as a child and an adult)
• to show nutrition information for two serving sizes. The dual column is now mandatory when the package is between 200%-300% of the RACC. Remember that for that specific instance we can create a dual column in Edit Label.

For all other instances, like the example below, we would create dual column label in Advanced Labels. For example, below we show what the cereal provides and what the cereal and the milk provides.
