Dietary Ingredients

Non-standard nutrients

  1. Select Edit Label from the ribbon or right-click on the Label and select Settings.

  2. Choose Supplement Dietary Ingredients

  3. Click Nutrients.

  4. These, again, are those nutrients not governed by NLEA standards. Add them as you would the standard nutrients

ENTER DESCRIPTION

  1. Click Description under the nutrient.

  2. Type the description in the space provided. This will appear beside the nutrient name on the Label.

OVERRIDE UNIT OF MEASURE

  • Select one of the available options. This will override the unit of measure.

BOLD NUTRIENT NAME

  • Check Name is Bold. The nutrient name will appear in bold on the Label.

Blends

  1. You must first have created a Recipe for the blend. Example: Proprietary blend of herbs.

  2. Add the Blend Recipe to your current Supplement Label Recipe.

  3. Go to Label > Settings > Supplement Dietary Ingredients.

  4. Select Blend.

  5. Check the item to display as a Blend.

  6. Click OK

  7. Expand the menu for your proprietary blend to see the other options available.

ADD A DESCRIPTION TO THE BLEND

  1. Click Description under the nutrient.

  2. type the description in the space provided

OVERRIDE THE BLEND (RECIPE) NAME

  • Type a new name in the Name Override space.

DISPLAY THE BLEND NAME IN BOLD TYPE

  • Check Blend Name is bold

OVERRIDE THE UNIT OF MEASURE

  • Select one of the available options. This will override the unit of measure and recalculate it appropriately.
