Creating a Supplement Facts with an herb

A proprietary blend of dietary ingredients

Note: To display a proprietary blend on a Supplement Facts panel, you must first have created that blend as a Recipe. These instructions assume that the blend has been created.

1. From the Home table, go to New > Recipe

2. Call the Recipe “Supplement powder”.

3. Enter 3 grams for Serving weight.

4. Click Finish

5. Search for and enter Proprietary Blend of Chamomile and Hyssop

6. Enter .1 gram.

7. Enter the other ingredients:

   1. Fructose, crystalline 1 gram

   2. Lactose 1 gram

8. To create a Supplement Label for this Recipe, go to Edit Label.

9. For Category, select Supplement Facts.

10. Enter 1 teaspoon for English Serving Size

11. 24 for English Servings per Container

12. Select Supplement Facts.

13. Check Show Insignificant Nutrients

14. Select Standard Nutrients.

15. Click Nutrients.

16. Add Carbohydrates and Total Sugars by double-clicking on them.

17. Click OK.

18. To add the blend, select Other Dietary Ingredients.

19. Click Blends.

20. Check Proprietary blend of Chamomile and Hyssop to include it on the Label as a blend.

21. Click OK.

22. Expand the blend.

23. Change the name to Proprietary Blend.

24. Change Chamomile, flowers to Chamomile and enter a description of (flowers)

25. Add (leaves) to the Hyssop description

26. Click View Label to see your Supplement Facts Label.
