Creating an Advanced Canadian Label

The Recipe to be used must have been created and saved in Genesis before you can use it in an Advanced Label. It does not have to be Open while creating the Advanced Label.

1.    On the menu, click Home > New > Advanced Labels.

2.    Enter the Name of your Label.

3.    Select Canada as the Country/Authority.

4.    Select the appropriate Regulation, Recommendation Profile and Style.

5.    Click Add.

6.    Find, highlight, and Select the Recipe.

7.    Click OK. 

To create a bilingual label

1. Go to Label > Edit Label.
2. Click the Format Options page.
3. Check Show Bilingual.
Leaving Show Bilingual unchecked will result in a single language label, as set by the Primary under Canada – Language Order (General page of Label> Edit Label).
