ESHA Code F8 Search

This search finds food items in the ESHA databases using the ESHA-assigned code number for that item. Because only ESHA database items have ESHA codes, this search will not return any user-created items.

  1. Type the ESHA code number in the Search for box.
  2. Press F8.

For foods you use often, make a “cheat sheet” of their ESHA codes and use the ESHA Code search. This method saves search time.
