Whole Word Search Dot Search

This search reduces the number of food items found by limiting the search to only whole words. Typing a period (.) after the name initiates the Whole Word search. For example, typing Apple. will locate such items as “Large Apple w/Peel” and “Dried Apple

Rings.” In contrast, a name search of Apple would also find items such as “Applesauce." This search will search both Recipes and Ingredients.
