Creating Ingredient Statements

All ingredients will initially show up in the top Other Ingredients box. Those in red are active ingredients and those in blue are inactive ingredients. Most commonly, active ingredients are listed on the Supplement Facts panel (rather than the ingredient statement) and inactive ingredients (including those from blends) are listed in the ingredient statement. So, initially the blue ingredients will be listed in the Default Ingredient statement.

    • To add an active (red) ingredient to the ingredient statement, click the "+" next to the item.
    • To remove a blue (inactive) ingredient from the ingredient statement, click the "x" next to the item.
    • Move the Default Ingredient statement to the Custom Ingredient statement using the ribbon control Copy Default to Custom in order to customize the text.
    • Use the ribbon control to select the default or custom ingredient statement for reporting.
