My Preferences - Groups to Exclude

Because of the expansive size of the program’s database, you may wish to automatically exclude groups from the search string. In doing so, you will limit the search and decrease search time. (This can be useful for archiving data.)

• • Check the box next to the group you wish to exclude.

The items will still be "active", so if they are used as an ingredient in a recipe or person that is not excluded they will still behave normally.
