U.S.: Mandatory Nutrients Options
When you create a label, Genesis Foods will automatically apply the rounding rules for label display. Some nutrients have additional display options. Those are covered here.
The Mandatory Nutrients Menu is accessed on the Label page in the Label Creation section:
Not all Mandatory Nutrients will have individual display options
Use unrounded values to determine %DV
Check Use unrounded values to determine %DV to tell the program to use the unrounded nutrient values, rather than the label rounded values, to determine the %Daily Value for the label nutrients.
Calories
Choose Total of all ingredients to tell the program to add the calories values of the individual ingredients to determine the recipe calorie amount.
Choose 4-4-9-7 to tell the program to use the calorie equivalents for carbs, protein, fat and alcohol to determine the recipe calorie amount. This will be disabled if any of the protein, carbs or fat values are null.
Note: Because the alcohol value will only be populated for a small number of foods, the option will still be enabled for a null alcohol value.
