Show/Hide

The Show/Hide section on the Menu Plan ribbon allows to display or hide Meals and Collections within your Days.

Show Collections

Organizing food items by collection simplifies food selection, when patrons are allowed to choose items. For example: Patrons can select one (Orange juice, apple juice or grape juice) from the Breakfast (meal) Beverage Collection. 

Check this to show collections (types of food: Side, Dessert, Salad, etc.) in your Menus.

You can add, delete, and modify collections:

  1. On the Database tab, select Modify,
  2. Choose Menu Collections. 
    • Select New to add a new Collection
    • Select Edit to rename a Collection
    • Select Delete to delete a Collection.

Show Meals

You can organize your food items by Meal type as well.

Check this to show Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, etc.) in your Menus. (Note: You cannot add Meal types.)
