Using Common Names
A Common Name is generally a shortened version of the long database name. Example: juice, orange, prepared from concentrate, with calcium & vitamin DÂ vs. Orange Juice. Many of the Ingredients already have Common Names associated with them.Â
- From the Home ribbon, select Preferences.
- In the General window, expand Display

For those items that do not have a Common Name, you will have to enter one.
