Search results are shown as document tiles and grouped under CFR, FDA, Other and USDA headings, in that order. Within each group, the document tiles are listed by the sort order chosen in the search criteria. The relevance sort is determined by an algorithm that takes into account how many times the search term(s) is used in the document, where in the document that the search term is listed, and other criteria.

Each tile shows the document name or CFR citation and a Click to View ___ Result(s) button.

A summary of the results appears at the top.

Document Name

Click on the name of the document (shown as a blue link) to view the entire document in the Document Viewer. The viewer will open in a new browser window.

View Results Button

To view the separate citations or pages within the document click on the green “Click to view Results” button. This will expand the results. From here select a page or citation, by clicking on the blue View Result button on the right hand side. This will open the Document Viewer in a new browser window.
