Print, Export, Create a Vector file

Printing, Saving and Exporting

Export

This action will Export the entire Formula and any modifications you made, plus all the label settings, statements, and report formatting, as an ESHA (.exlx) file that can be imported into another instance of Genesis R&D Supplements.

  1. Click Export.

  2. Navigate to where you want to save the file

  3. Click Save. You can now send this to another user who will be able to open it like any other Formula.

Save As

This action will Save a copy of the Formula with a new name

  1. Click Save As. The program will suggest a name for the Formula copy.

  2. Rename, if necessary.

  3. Click OK. The copy will be saved to the database and will be the open onscreen. The original version will also remain open.

Print (Label Editor tab)

  1. Click Print (or right-click on the Label and select Print). This opens a standard print dialog.

  2. Choose your printer.

  3. Click Print.

Export to Vector PDF (Label Editor tab)

Vector files are camera-ready and can be scaled infinitely, without any loss of quality. For this reason, your graphics department and the printer will likely want a vector file of your label for use on the packaging or any other printed material that needs to be high quality.

Regardless of your vector editing program (Corel, Illustrator, etc.), it will be able to import and read a pdf file as a vector file. 

  1. Click Export as Vector PDF (or right-click on the Label and select Export as Vector PDF)

  2. Navigate to where you want to save the file

  3. Click Save. You can open this in any vector-editing software (Illustrator, etc.)

Copy to Clipboard (right-click label menu only)

  1. Right-click on the Label and select Copy to Clipboard. This copies the label to your computer’s clipboard

  2. Open a document in a different program.

  3. Click Paste.

Export to Image (right-click label menu only)

  1. Right-click on the Label and select Export to Image

  2. Navigate to where you want to save the file

  3. Select the preferred File type from the available options

  4. Click Save.
