The FDA allows three types of label claims: health claims, nutrient content claims, and structure/function claims.
While Genesis R&D doesn’t evaluate your Recipe for health or structure claims, it does apply mathematical rules from the country-specific regulations to come up with a selection of nutrient content claims. It is ultimately up to you to make the final decisions regarding whether or not to use nutrient content claims, and which ones are actually appropriate for your situation. In the U.S. claims must meet the qualifications for the correct reference amount.
In Canada, the claims must meet the qualifications for both per serving and reference amounts.
