The program is pre-populated with U.S. food allergens, which include the required species and varieties of general allergens like Fish, Shellfish and Tree Nuts. This list also includes allergen-free options (Soy-free, Wheat-free, etc). The pre-populated allergens are maintained by ESHA and so cannot be edited/deleted.
Allergens are assigned to your ingredient or formula documents from the Allergens tab and can appear on your label and reports.
This Allergens Options dialog is where you add allergens.
To add an Allergens
- Right-click on this screen and select Add
- Type in the name of the allergen and press Enter.
To delete an Allergen
- Right-click on the Allergen and select Delete..
