Setting Allergens

Because we do not make judgment calls on allergensof processing, handling and other factors, we cannot assume that any ingredients are allergen free. Therefore, all ingredients are initially assumed to contain ALL allergens. Your task, then, is to remove unnecessary allergens from your item.Allergen information entered for Ingredients will also appear in the final Recipe and Labeluser-added or ESHA ingredient, once you have determined those allergens do not apply.

Your Recipes will use the allergen information entered at the ingredient level to determine allergen content, but you will also be able to adjust allergens at the Recipe level as well.
