Data Import Template

Importing Ingredient data into the software database: Info below describes how to fill out ESHA’s Excel Genesis Supplements Import Template (attached), and then import data into the Genesis R&D Supplements program. 

• Use the Genesis Import Template (attached below) to import your ingredient data into Genesis R&D Supplements.

• Fill out the ingredient information into rows with corresponding nutrient data and fields.
• Before you can import data into Genesis Supplements, you will need to save this file from Excel using Save As and selecting Tab Delimited File (Text).
• To get the data into the Genesis R&D Supplements program, click the Import Data icon from the Database menu, select TXT and browse to find the .txt file.
• When it’s finished importing, you will be able to view and edit these imported ingredients from the Open Ingredient screen.
