When you first use the program, you will see a list of included sample ingredients and formulas. As you continue to add your own records, this list will show all available ingredients and formulas.

On this screen, you open both ingredients and formulas by clicking on them in the list. As you start typing in the search bar, the program will immediately start to search the database for matches and refine your list of results. The more you type, the more refined the search results will be. The search results will expand to show you Alternate Names and ingredients.

Depending on which options and/or search conditions are selected, the program will search ingredients, ingredient components and formulas for the results.

You can refine results by a variety of additional methods.

  1. Select one of the tabs: All, Recents, Ingredients, Formulas

  2. Use the right-hand sidebar to refine results by Nutrient content, entered cost, shelf life, target amount or group.

Each search condition that is entered will refine the search. For example, a search could list all of the Botanicals that have a shelf life less than 1 year and cost between $3.00 and $10.00 per pound.
