Components and their amounts are the building blocks of ingredients, and will mostly be vitamins or minerals, some of which are required to appear on your Supplement Facts labels if present in significant amounts. Others are voluntary and are required only if you are making a claim such as “High in Vitamin E.” Components also include water or ash (inactive) or chemical compounds, such as lead and arsenic. Genesis R&D assumes you have the spec sheets (or other records of nutrient content) you can use to enter the nutrient component amount for your ingredient.
