Here The Label View page is where you modify your Supplements Label. The section you select on the Label (highlighted with purple) will determine which modifications options appear in the element editor in the lower right-hand corner.

Click on Serving Size on the label.

Serving Size

The label displays the serving size that was entered on the formula screen. You can modify what is shown by checking or unchecking the available options:
Include weight in serving size – Unchecking will hide weight (usually gram weight in parenthesis)
Include prepared serving size – If entered, this will appear on the label.
Include Servings Per Container – If entered, this will appear on the label.
Use abbreviated measure in Serving Size – Check this to show ea instead of each, etc.
Serving Size Override – What automatically appears on the label is determined by what was entered on the Formula page. You can override any of those here.
NOTE: Changes made here will not affect the other label templates for the same formula.

Header:

Show amount in its own columnUnchecked will show amount next to the ingredient.
Show amount header in its own column – Unchecked will put header over ingredient column.
Use Amount Per Serving – Unchecked will show “Amount per Each”.
Amt. Column Justification - left, right, or center.
%DV Column Justification - left, right, or center.

Percent Daily Value Columns -

The program includes 2016 US labeling standards for all age groups:

  • Adult - used for adults and children 4 years and over

    • Children <1 - used for infants through 12 months of age

    • Children <4 - used for children 1 through 3 years of age

    • Pregnant/Lactating - used for pregnant and lactating women

  1. Select a profile and header text from the pull down menu.

  2. Add an additional profile to the label by pressing the "+" button.

Show ‘Percent Daily Values are based on a 2000 calorie diet’–Check this to show the footnote. Note: You will probably only use this on rare occasions.
Show ‘Daily Value not established †’ icon – Check this to show the icon with any associated nutrients and with the footnote.
Show ‘DV = Daily Value’– Check to show that footnote.
NOTE: Changes made herecan see what the label looks like, adjust its size and modify any of the label line items.

Label Name

Genesis R&S Supplements allows you to create and modify any number of labels for this formula. Each time you make modifications to the label’s nutrients, layout, font, etc., those changes will be saved. The program will automatically name each new label “New Label” and add numbers (“New Label_1”) if necessary. You can enter a unique label name here.

Sizing

  • Use the label sizers (purple boxes) to drag the label larger and smaller

  • Select the Rules Units and enter the width and height manually

Zoom

  • Use the Zoom slider

  • Click Size to fit

Column adjustments

If there is a red box around any of the text on the label image, that indicates that the content is too big for the space.

This can be corrected using one or all of the following options.

  • Click on the heading (the line with Amount Per Serving), and move the vertical black lines until the red inner boxes are gone.

  • Use the purple sizer boxes to drag the label until the red inner boxes are gone.
