This manual goes over the basic functions of the program. For more in-depth education on using the program and understanding food-product packaging and labeling regulations, please set up a training with our Consulting Services teamGenesis® Foods simplifies or automates many of the processes you go through to get your food product to the shelves with a compliant and true nutrition label (Nutrition Facts panel, Nutrition Table, etc.).
Genesis Foods enables you to easily add full ingredient data, virtually formulate foods/create their recipes, analyze the nutritional content of your foods without a lab, and generate nutrition labels that conform to government regulations and consumer wishes.
Using the program is largely intuitive, but if this is your first time using the program, we recommend that you review the Quick Start Guides for each section.
Please note: While we have made every effort to set up guardrails to keep you from creating non-compliant labels, it will still be possible to do so. Please consult the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) or the European Commission on Nutrition Labeling if you have questions about your label and packaging.
