Note: For version 1.0, only U.S. labels are available. As such, you cannot currently select different years, recomendation profiles or bilingual. This will change as more labels are added.

Name

Use the established naming best practices agreed on by your organization. The name entry can accommodate letters and numbers.

  • Type the name in the Name field.

Authority

The Authority (the country or region) dictates the regulations for this Label.

  • Select your Authority from the menu options.

Regulation Year

If you are creating your product during a compliance grace period, you may be able to use the older regulations. The most recent date will always represent the latest regulations. Available regulation years depend on Authority selected.

  • Select your regulation year from the menu options.

Recommendation Profile

Depending on the Authority and Regulation Year you have selected, these will be some variation of Adult, Child, Infant. Recommendation Profiles will affect the % daily values on your label.

  • Select the recommendation profile from the menu options.

Bilingual

The languages available are dependent on the Authority you selected.

  • Check the box to show two languages. You will be able to select those languages on the next screen.

Label Templates

The program will use the temple you selected to draw your label. In most cases, selecting Standard is the best option. However, depending on package size, labeling space and contents, you may be able to use Tabular or Linear. Click the Learn More link to help you decide which label to use.

  • Click the template. A blue check will indicate your selection.

When you have finished setting up your label, click Continue to Label
